Your Planner Or Journal Could Be Your Biggest Lead Magnet

Let's be honest for a minute. When you decided a planner or journal would be a good addition to your business why did you make that decision?

Was it profit? Helping your clients? Because it would be cool? Or because you've seen other people do it?

None of these are the right or wrong answer you are the only person that knows what is the right move for your business and I am not here to tell you otherwise. What I want to do is open your world up and let you see your planner or journal in a different way.  You might have designed it already or it still might be in the idea stage, either way, you need to understand how your beautiful planner or journal is going to work for you. A lot of people get stuck on numbers sold and if you are solely a product-based business then I get why. In this case, you need to get obsessed with numbers and drive traffic to your link. However I have designed planners and journals for a lot of coaches that have other services they offer. If this is you then your planner or journal could become your biggest lead magnet.

If your planner or journal is designed correctly and placed correctly in your business you will have an asset that will keep working for you for years to come. By creating something special that isn't generic and allowing the customer to get to know you and your work along with the next steps or upsell. This is a perfect combination to bring new customers, followers, and clients into your world, and that one planner or journal sale doesn't become about that one copy sold anymore. It becomes about the customer journey, especially when they have bought your course, membership, or 1-1 off the back of that one planner sale.

This is why you could sell 20 planners which in profits would be £100, and you get disappointed because you thought you would make a lot more, but then you make 2 sales on your £1997 course, and already that £100 turns into over £4000. Which is a healthy return on investment and puts you into profit.

My top tips for designing a planner or journal like this would be please don't go generic, because generic just doesn't work. Your planner or journal needs to be full of purpose and that will make you stand out. My second top tip is to invest in a planner and journal designer, someone who has gone through the process lots of times before, and knows what works and what doesn't, so you get something that looks amazing rather than just ok. I know you might think I'm biased but I can tell when someone has just thrown a planner or journal together it looks terrible and there's no structure to it. My services start from £2395 and that is for the whole package including a matching notebook. If you want to find out more click here. If you have your heart set on designing your planner or journal yourself, I get it!
